Workshop 1: In His Image
Women in this culture are inundated with the message that our worth, value, and beauty is based solely on their ability to conform to the standards of the world . In this workshop, we cover:
Overcoming the guilt, shame, and failure to fit into worldly standards
Discover how all the choices we make about eating stem from how we view our bodies
Digging into the lies of the culture and God’s view of how He created our bodies
We are called to be in the world, not of the world.
Workshop 2: Free to Eat
In our diet-centric culture, many struggle with food obsession and bondage to diet rules - this leads to emotional eating, yo-yo dieting, and confusion on what and how to eat. In this workshop, we cover:
How dieting itself is root cause of our food guilt
Renewing the mind around the lies that bring diet guilt and failure
Practical tools to tune into how God created us to fuel without unrealistic diet rules
Workshop 3: What to Eat
There has never been more information at our fingertips about what healthy eating looks like. However, this also brings confusion with so much conflicting information available. In this workshop, I build from my 15+ years of experience as a dietitian to:
Dispel nutrition myths
Review practical and biblical guidance on how to nourish our bodies
Learn how to enjoy food without guilt
Boldness to step further into their purpose that has been on hold from body shame
Tools to rewire and ID the lies and negative thought patterns that keep us stuck
Feeling empowered to address emotional eating at the core
Clarity on what to eat and how diet culture keeps us in bondage
A new revelation of their bodies and worth in Christ
This is a message I know God has called me to spread to all His girls - let’s start talking about these very real struggles that get overlooked in the church today - schedule a discovery call to find out more on how to book these powerful workshops.
As a dietitian and food rules survivor, I know we as women want to feel confident in our bodies, relationship with food and end the yo-yo diet cycle. In order to do that, we need to understand how we were created to eat – free from diets and using food to soothe.
The problem is, society does not set us up well for this. There is a constant pressure to look a certain way and follow conflicting and unrealistic diets in a fast-paced world. This sets us up to feel like a failure with no willpower and constantly battling emotional eating and guilt.
I believe God created food for our enjoyment and nourishment and that no one should feel powerless (or guilty!) when it comes to eating well. I understand how hopeless it can feel to overcome the pressures of diets, trying to conform to certain body image ideals, and the stress of eating in this current culture.
This is why I help guide women of faith on how to nourish their bodies the way God intended – diet free – and partner with Him to renew our minds with a healthier relationship with food.
As a registered dietitian, I have completed thousands of nutrition coaching sessions and taught dozens of nutrition classes. I understand the challenges people face when it comes to navigating diet culture.
